§ 36-2-19-7 — Duplicate plat copy to township assessor

(a)Except as provided in subsection (b), in a county in which IC 6-1.1-5-9 or IC 6-1.1-5-9.1 applies, the county surveyor shall file a duplicate copy of any plat described in section 4 of this chapter with the township assessor (if any).
(b)If the duties of the township assessor have been transferred to the county assessor as described in IC 6-1.1-1-24, a reference to the township assessor in this section is considered to be a reference to the county assessor.
