Text

If the record of a will, letters testamentary, or letters of administration is destroyed, and an authenticated copy of the will or letters is presented to the clerk of the proper court, the clerk shall record the copy as if it was the original and shall note on the record the date on which the document was originally recorded. A record made under this section has the same force as the original record. [Pre-Local Government Recodification Citation: 5-15-8-19.] As added by Acts 1980, P.L.212, SEC.1.
