Text

(a)At an investigation under this chapter, the coroner shall examine persons wanting to testify and may examine persons the coroner has summoned by the coroner's subpoena. Witnesses shall answer under oath all questions concerning the death under investigation.
(b)If a physician is required to attend an investigation and make a post mortem examination, the coroner shall certify this service to the county executive, which shall order payment for the physician from the county treasury.
