Text
(a)The county recorder must reside within the
county as provided in Article 6, Section 6 of the Constitution of the
State of Indiana. The recorder forfeits office if the recorder ceases to be
a resident of the county.
(b)The term of office of the county recorder under Article 6,
Section 2 of the Constitution of the State of Indiana is four (4) years
and continues until a successor is elected and qualified.
