Text

A township may appropriate general revenue sharing funds that the township receives under the federal State and Local Fiscal Assistance Act of 1972, as amended, to a Class 1 public library. Other units have authority under IC 36-10-2-4 to aid public libraries through any means available. Any general revenue sharing funds received by a public library shall be deposited in any of the funds outlined in section 11 of this chapter.
