Indiana Statutes
§ 36-12-11-9 — Reciprocity with other states
To prevent unjust and arbitrary exclusions by
other states of certified librarians who have complied with the
requirements of Indiana law, the board may adopt rules necessary for
the reciprocal recognition of certificates for librarians issued by other
states whose qualifications for library service are at least as high as the
qualifications in Indiana. To effect this section, the board shall consider
the recommendations of the American Library Association.
