5.
(a)In a township having a department of
parks and recreation established under section 5 of this chapter, the
executive may establish a township park and recreation board.
(b)A township park and recreation board established under this
section consists of:
(1)the executive; and
(2)three (3) persons appointed by the executive to serve at the
pleasure of the executive.
(c)The executive or an appointed member of the township park and
recreation board established under this section remains a member of
the board until a successor is elected or appointed and qualified.
