§ 36-10-4-7 — Board of park commissioners; election of officers; quorum; regular meetings; office; report; disposition of money received

(a)The board shall elect at its first regular
meeting in February each year one (1) of the commissioners president
and another vice president. The vice president shall perform the duties
of the president during the absence or disability of the president.
(b)A majority of the commissioners constitutes a quorum. Action
of the board is not binding unless authorized by a majority of the
commissioners at a regular or duly called special meeting of the board.
If there is a tie vote on any question, the city executive shall cast the
deciding vote.
(c)The board shall fix a time for holding regular meetings. Special
meetings of the board may be called at any time by its president, or by
any two (2) of the commissioners, upon a written request to the
