Text

If a board decides to sell a part of the park lands owned by the city, it shall prepare an ordinance authorizing the sale and submit it to the city legislative body. If the legislative body passes the ordinance, the land shall be sold as other land of the city is sold and the proceeds of the sale credited to the department. The proceeds shall be expended for the improvement of the remaining park land or for the purchase of other land for park purposes, as the board considers best for the city.
