§ 36-10-13-5 — School corporations in certain counties; operations fund appropriation for historical society

(a)This section applies only to a school corporation in the following counties:
(1)A county having a population of more than two hundred fifty thousand (250,000) and less than three hundred thousand (300,000).
(2)A county having a population of more than one hundred eighty thousand (180,000) and less than one hundred eighty-five thousand (185,000).
(b)Subject to section 6 of this chapter, the governing body of the school corporation may annually appropriate the money in the operations fund to be paid in semiannual installments to a historical society having facilities in the county.
