Text

Except in the case of a reorganization described in section 1(a)(7) or 1(a)(9) of this chapter, if a reorganization is not approved by the majority of the voters in each reorganizing political subdivision voting on the public question, the reorganization is terminated. A political subdivision in which voters of the political subdivision approved the reorganization may continue with a reorganization with another political subdivision in which the reorganization was approved only if a new plan of reorganization is approved by the voters of each political subdivision in the manner provided by this chapter.
