Political subdivisions described in section 1 of this chapter may participate under this chapter in any of the following types of reorganization:
(1)Consolidation of the participating political subdivisions into
a single new political subdivision.
(2)Consolidation of the participating political subdivisions into
one (1) of the participating political subdivisions.
