Text
5. As used in this chapter, "correctional services provider" means a person who provides:
(1)health care services; or
(2)mental health and addiction services;
to an individual who is lawfully detained (as described in IC 35-31.5-2-186) in a facility operated by the state or a political
subdivision, regardless of whether the person is an employee or a
contractor.
