Text
(a)A unit may acquire by eminent domain or
other means, and own interests in real and personal property.
(b)A municipality may exercise the powers in subsection (a), except
for the power of eminent domain, within four (4) miles outside of its
corporate boundaries. A municipality may not exercise the power of
eminent domain outside of its corporate boundaries, unless a statute
expressly provides otherwise.
