7.

(a)All questions regarding the validity of:
(1)a declaration of candidacy;
(2)a petition of nomination; or
(3)a certificate of nomination of a candidate by a town convention; subject to this chapter shall be filed under IC 3-8-1-2, with the county election board of the county where the declaration of candidacy was filed, not later than noon seven (7) days after the final date for filing a certificate under section 13(d) of this chapter. The question shall be referred to and determined by the town election board (or by the appropriate county election board if a county election board is conducting the election for the town).
(b)The election board shall rule on the validity of any document described in subsection (a) not later than noon seven (7) days following the deadline for filing
