§ 3-7-46-6 — County sheriff to provide report of incarcerated residents; contents of report
(a)At least once a quarter, and not later than:
(1)January 31;
(2)April 30;
(3)July 31; and
(4)October 31;
of each year, a county sheriff shall provide the county voter registration
office with a report containing the information set forth in subsection
(b)for processing under section 8 of this chapter.
(b)The report required by subsection (a) must identify each person
who:
(1)is a resident of Indiana;
(2)has been convicted of a crime; and
(3)has been placed in a county correctional facility after the last
date the sheriff prepared a report required by subsection (a).
(c)The report must be in the form prescribed by the election
division under IC 3-5-4-8 and state:
(1)whether the person remains in lawful custody in a county
correctional facility as of the date of the report; and
