(a)The county voter registration official
shall send a notice requesting proof of citizenship (as defined in IC 3-7-38.2-7.3(a)) to each individual who uses an identification number
from a temporary credential issued under IC 9-24-11-5(c) or IC 9-24-16-3(f) as part of the individual's voter registration application.
(b)An individual must provide proof of citizenship to the county
voter registration official within thirty (30) days of receiving a notice
under subsection (a).
(c)If the individual does not provide proof of citizenship within
thirty (30) days of receiving a notice under subsection (a), the county
voter registration official shall reject the individual's voter registration.
(d)The election division shall prescribe the design of the notice
required under this section.
