Text
A person who is a candidate for elected office may not be:
(1)appointed as a deputy election commissioner; or
(2)employed by a county election board.
If a deputy election commissioner or employee of a county election
board becomes a candidate for elected office, the person may not
continue to serve as a deputy election commissioner or employee of a
county election board.
