Text
"Former candidate" refers to an individual who was a candidate for an election and satisfies any of the following:
(1)The individual has died before the election, including a
candidate certified as deceased under IC 3-8-7-1.
(2)The individual has withdrawn as a candidate before the
election.
(3)The individual has been disqualified as a candidate under IC 3-8-1-5.
(4)The individual has been disqualified as a candidate under a
court order issued under IC 3-8-7-29(d).
