Text

(a)This section does not apply to:
(1)political activities; or
(2)political fundraising activities.
(b)A person who uses voter registration information obtained under IC 3-7-26.3 or IC 3-7-27 to solicit the sale of merchandise, goods, services, or subscriptions commits a Class B infraction.
(c)The court shall:
(1)keep a record; and
(2)send a copy of the record to the prosecuting attorney of the county in which the infraction proceeding was tried; of a judgment for an infraction proceeding tried under this section.
(d)A person who:
(1)has previously received a judgment for committing an infraction under this section; and
(2)knowingly or intentionally uses voter registration information in violation of this section; commits a Class A misdemeanor.
