Text
1. Notwithstanding any other law, the additions and amendments to this chapter made by legislation enacted in the 2015 regular session of the general assembly do not affect any:
(1)rights or liabilities accrued;
(2)penalties incurred;
(3)offenses committed; or
(4)proceedings begun;
before July 1, 2015. Those rights, liabilities, penalties, offenses, and
proceedings continue and shall be imposed and enforced under prior
law as if the legislation had not been enacted.
