Text
The county chairman:
(1)of the county in which the greatest percentage of the
population of the election district is located; and
(2)of the same political party that elected or selected the official
who vacated the office to be filled;
(or an individual designated by the county chairman) is the chairman
of a caucus held under this chapter. The chairman is not eligible to vote
in the caucus unless the chairman is also a member of the caucus.
