Text
Whenever a tie vote at an election for:
(1)a state office;
(2)a local office; or
(3)a school board office;
occurs, the incumbent public official remains in office in accordance
with Article 15, Section 3 of the Constitution of the State of Indiana
until a successor is elected under this chapter and qualified.
