Text
Whenever a tie vote at an election for the offices
of governor and lieutenant governor occurs, a majority of the state
senate and house of representatives meeting in joint session shall elect
these officials from among the candidates receiving the tie vote in
accordance with Article 5, Section 5 of the Constitution of the State of
Indiana.
