Text
(a)As soon as practical, but no later than
noon on the second Monday following an election for a legislative
office, each circuit court clerk shall:
(1)prepare a certified statement specifying the number of votes
received in the county by each candidate for legislative office; and
(2)transmit the statement to the election division in accordance
with section 1.5 of this chapter.
(b)The election division shall provide a copy of each statement to
the office.
