Text
If by accident or casualty the ballots delivered
to a county election board, circuit court clerk, inspector, or other
messenger are lost or destroyed, the person in custody of the ballots
shall report the loss at once to the election board from which the ballots
were obtained. The person in custody of the ballots shall make an
affidavit of the circumstances of the loss, and the election board from
which the ballots were obtained immediately shall resupply the person.
