8. A voting system certified for use under this chapter may include features to permit the use of electronic adjudication of ballots to review voter intent so long as:
(1)the adjudication is conducted in compliance with Indiana law;
and
(2)the software is a part of the electronic management system
(EMS) certified by the commission as part of the voting system.
