Text
Each county election board shall conduct a
training session for the members of the absentee voter boards. A
member of an absentee voter board must receive the training before the
member begins performing the member's duties. At the training session
the duties of the absentee voter boards and the election laws and
penalties pertaining to their duties shall be explained in detail. The
members of absentee voter boards are entitled to a per diem set by the
county executive for attending the training session.
