Text

A town election board shall appoint two (2) poll clerks, and may appoint two (2) assistant poll clerks, of opposite political parties for each precinct in the town. Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, the poll clerks and assistant poll clerks have the same powers and duties, and are subject to the same qualifications and penalties, as poll clerks and assistant poll clerks appointed for a general election under IC 3-6-6-2 and IC 3-6-6-3.
