5. For each presidential elector position in Indiana:
(1)a political party;
(2)a group of petitioners under IC 3-8-6; or
(3)a write-in candidate for the office of President or Vice
President of the United States under IC 3-8-2-2.5;
must submit the names of two (2) qualified individuals. One (1) of the
individuals must be designated "presidential elector nominee" and the
other individual "alternate presidential elector nominee". Except as
otherwise provided in this chapter, Indiana's presidential electors and
alternate presidential electors whose ticket receives the most votes at
the general election in Indiana are the winning presidential elector and
alternate presidential elector nominees under this title.
