7. The ballot for a primary election is not required to contain the information set forth under IC 3-11-2-10, IC 3-11-13-11, or IC 3-11-14-3.5 concerning:

(1)write-in voting; or
(2)independent candidates or independent tickets (described in IC 3-11-2-6); except when an office for which write-in candidates or independent candidates or independent tickets (described in IC 3-11-2-6) are permitted is elected at the same time as the primary election.
