Text
Any minor alleged to have violated a traffic law, a conservation offense, or a municipal or county ordinance, may be prosecuted for the violation and if found guilty punished under any statute or ordinance relating to the violation, without reference to the procedures set out in this Article, except that:
(1)any detention, must be in compliance with this Article; and (2) the confidentiality of records provisions in Part 9 of this Article shall apply to any law enforcement and court records relating to prosecution of a minor under 18 years of age for a municipal or county ordinance violation or a violation of subsection (a) of Section 4 of the Cannabis Control Act or subsection (c) of Section 3.5 of the Drug Paraphernalia Control Act; except that these confidentiality provisions shall not
