Text
The collector into whose possession the warrant comes as far as practicable shall mail a notice to all persons whose names appear on the assessment roll at the addresses shown thereon, informing them of the special assessment and requesting payment thereof. A collector's omission to mail such notice shall not affect the validity of the special assessment or the right of the district to apply for and obtain a judgment thereon. The collector shall maintain accurate records of payments received on assessments.
