§ 20-5 — Authorization to accept retrocession

Pursuant to the provisions of Title 10, United States Code, Section 2683, the State of Illinois hereby authorizes acceptance of retrocession by the United States of America of exclusive legislative jurisdiction over lands containing 712.30 acres, more or less, within the boundaries of United States Army Fort Sheridan Military Reservation, County of Lake, Illinois, more particularly described as follows: Situated in the State of Illinois, County of Lake, in Sections 3, 10, 11, 14, and 15, all in Township 43 north, Range 12 east, of the Third Principal Meridian, about twenty-five miles north of the City of Chicago, and more particularly described as follows, with bearings and values referenced to the Illinois State Plane Coordinate System, East Zone (NAD 27).
