The Commission on Government Forecasting and Accountability, upon the recommendation of the sponsoring committee, shall recruit, select, appoint, fix the stipends of, and assign interns to appropriate officers and agencies of the General Assembly for the pursuit of education, study or research. Such persons shall be appointed for internships not to exceed 12 months.
