(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2030) Sec. 23.16. Penalties. Any person who is found to have violated any provision of this Act is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor for the first offense. On conviction of a second or subsequent offense the violator shall be guilty of a Class 4 felony. All criminal fines, moneys, or other property collected or received by the Department under this Section, or any other State or federal statute, shall be deposited into the General Professions Dedicated Fund.
