§ 121-2

Transacting business without certificate of authority prohibited - Exempt transactions. It is unlawful for any insurer to transact insurance business in this State, (as described in Section 121-3,) without a certificate of authority from the Director. This Section does not however, apply to any transaction described in Sections 121-2.01 through 121-2.10.
