§ 54-1911 — FILING, ISSUANCE AND DENIAL OF LICENSES — FEES NOT REFUNDED

Applications for original licenses, together with the fees therefor, shall be filed with the administrator. After such examination and investigation as may be prescribed by rule, in accordance with the provisions of this chapter, if no valid reason exists for further investigation of applicant, the administrator shall issue a license to applicant permitting him to engage in business as a contractor under the terms of this chapter for the licensing period designated. If the information brought to the attention of the administrator concerning the character and integrity of an applicant is such that it would appear proper to deny the application, the applicant shall be notified by certified mail to show cause within such time, not less than five (5) days, nor more than thirty (30) days, why t
