Text
1.Whenever the governing body of any municipality shall desire to participate in the
creation of an authority it shall adopt a resolution signifying its intention to do so and
shall publish said resolution at least one time in a newspaper of general circulation in such
municipality giving notice of a hearing to be held on the question of the municipality’s entry
into such authority. Such resolution shall be published at least fourteen days prior to the
date of hearing, and shall contain therein the following information:
a.Intention to join in the creation of an authority pursuant to the provisions of this
chapter.
b.The names of other municipalities which have expressed their intention to join in the
creation of the authority.
c.Number of board members to be appointed by the municipal
