Text
All contracts entered into by an authority for the construction, reconstruction, and
improvement of aviation facilities shall be entered into pursuant to and shall comply with
the competitive bid procedures in chapter 26. However, where an authority determines
an emergency exists, it may enter into contracts obligating the authority for not in excess
of the competitive bid threshold in section 26.3, or as established in section 314.1B per
emergency without regard to the requirements of chapter 26 and the authority may proceed
with the necessary action as expeditiously as possible to the extent necessary to resolve
such emergency.
