Text

1.The state board shall monitor the performance and compliance of each charter school the state board approves, including collecting and analyzing data according to the charter schoolcontractinordertomeettherequirementsofthischapter. Suchoversightmayinclude inquiries and investigation of the charter school so long as the activities are consistent with theintentofthischapter,adheretothetermsofthecharterschoolcontract,anddonotunduly inhibittheautonomygrantedtothecharterschool. Anyperformancereportresultingfroman inquiry or investigation under this section shall, upon conclusion of such action, be included in the annual report required under section 256E.12.
2.As part of the charter school contract, the charter school shall submit an annual report to assist the state board in evaluating the
