208.14 Bond.
The application for registration shall be accompanied by a bond or security as required
under section 208.23 or 208.24. After ascertaining that the applicant is licensed under section
208.7 and is not in violation of this chapter with respect to any mine site previously registered
with the division, the division shall register the mine site and shall issue the applicant written
authorization to operate a mine.
