Text
It is the policy of this state to provide for the reclamation and conservation of land affected
by the mining of gypsum, clay, stone, sand, gravel, or other ores or mineral solids, except
coal, and thereby to preserve natural resources, protect and perpetuate the taxable value of
property, and protect and promote the health, safety and general welfare of the people of this
state.
