Text
Beforebeingslaughtered,quarantinedbovineanimalsshallbeappraisedattheircashvalue
for dairy and breeding purposes by the owner and a representative of the department, a
representative of the United States department of agriculture, or by the owner and both of
the representatives. If these parties cannot agree as to the amount of the appraisal, three
competent and disinterested persons shall be appointed to render a final appraisal. One
person shall be appointed by the department, one by the owner, and one by the first two
appointed persons.
