Text
When a written order has been issued by the department or its authorized representative
for the removal of a quarantined designated animal to slaughter, the designated animal
shall be tagged and handled within fifteen days after the date of testing. Within thirty days
the designated animal shall be moved and slaughtered under the direct supervision of a
duly authorized agent or representative of the United States department of agriculture at a
time and place designated by the department. A designated animal quarantined because of
brucellosis shall be disposed of by its owner within a period not to exceed forty-five days
from the date on which blood samples were drawn disclosing it as a reactor.
