147.19, 147.20. 155.3 Qualifications for licensure. The board shall have authority to issue licenses to qualified persons as nursing home administrators, and shall establish qualification criteria for such nursing home administrators. No license shall be issued to a person as a nursing home administrator unless:
1.The applicant is of sound mental health and physically able to perform the duties.
2.The applicant has presented evidence satisfactory to the board of sufficient education,
training, or experience to administer, supervise, and manage a nursing home.
3.The applicant has passed an examination prescribed by the board pursuant to section
147.34.
