Text
1.Apersonwhocomplieswiththischapteringoodfaithorwiththeapplicableanatomical
gift law of another state, or who attempts in good faith to comply, is immune from liability in
any civil action, criminal prosecution, or administrative proceeding.
2.An individual who makes an anatomical gift pursuant to this chapter and the
individual’s estate are not liable for any injury or damages that may result from the making
or the use of the anatomical gift, if the gift is made in good faith.
3.In determining whether an anatomical gift has been made, amended, or revoked
under this chapter, a person may rely upon representations of an individual listed in
section 142C.4, subsection 1, paragraph “b”, “c”, “d”, “e”, “f”, “g”, or “h”, relating to the
individual’s relationship to the donor or prospective d
