Text
1.Upon determination by the department that this chapter or any rule adopted pursuant
to this chapter has been or is being violated, the department may order that the radiation
machine or radioactive material not be used until the necessary corrective action has been
taken. If the use of the radiation machine or radioactive material continues in violation of
the order of the department, the department may request the county attorney or the attorney
general to make an application in the name of the state to the district court of the county in
which the violations may have occurred for an order to enjoin the violations or practices.
2.The department may impound or order the impounding of radioactive material in the
possession of a person who is not equipped to observe or fails to observe a
