Text
This chapter does not preempt ordinances, resolutions, or rules of a local government or
of a state agency relating to radioactive material that are consistent with this chapter. This
chapter does not give the department the authority to regulate a facility for the disposal of
low-level radioactive waste as defined in article II of section 457B.1.
