Text
(a)There is created the office of executive director of the Peace Officers' Annuity and Benefit Fund. The executive director shall be elected by the board, shall serve at its pleasure, and shall perform the duties provided for in this chapter and such other duties and services as the board may direct. The board shall fix the compensation of the executive director.
(b)The executive director shall give a good and sufficient surety bond in such an amount as may be determined by the board, and such surety bond shall be conditioned upon the proper and faithful performance of the duties of the executive director.
(c)Subject to direction and limitations as may be set by the board, the executive director shall be authorized to enter into agreements for the acquisition of goods and services for
